Module 1 is specifically designed to train BOAs in legislation and regulations. This module covers a wide range of topics, including organization and regulations, personal data protection (GDPR & WPG), collaboration with chain partners, and key legal areas such as (juvenile) criminal law, administrative law, and the General Local Bylaw.
In addition, specific laws and regulations are covered, such as the Road Traffic Act 1994, the Alcohol Act, the Shop Opening Hours Act, the Economic Offences Act, the Water Act, the Soil Protection Act, the Fisheries Act 1963, and the Environmental Management Act.
This module ensures that participants are always up-to-date with the ever-evolving laws and regulations. By providing them with the latest information and developments, BOAs can effectively identify and enforce violations. This supports the overall goal of municipalities to ensure safety and quality of life.
