The Safety Broker plays a key role in achieving the safety objectives laid out in the municipality’s Integrated Safety Plan. As the director of the safety agenda, the Safety Broker is responsible for coordinating and managing all involved parties, including the board and other stakeholders. This role is essential for improving safety and the quality of life in neighborhoods. The Safety Broker serves as the central point of contact and is responsible for organizing effective interventions aimed at addressing neighborhood problems. In addition, the Safety Broker advises the municipal executive on the deployment of resources and priorities and plays a key role in developing and optimizing work processes within the Enforcement Department.
